This project was an assignment in Packaging Design, where we were learning how to design rub downs and vinyl to simulate sand blasting on glass products. The assignment was to create our own design to be placed on glass while conforming to the same color the class voted on to use as the vinyl color.
I was inspired by water, bubbles, and organic products. I thought the challenge of the clear glass would give the appearance of natural light, which is usually considered to be natural and organic in designs. We also had to make the product that would go inside of the packaging, so I created organic homemade sugar scrubs. The logo is of a bubble and eucalyptus leaf merged together resting on rippling water. Restore is meant to sound refreshing and relaxing.
